Customer engagement expert Tanja Pfisterer-Lang will head up the Media Sales division at Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster alongside Dr. Peter Wiggers from September 8, 2025. After a joint transition phase, Dr. Peter Wiggers will hand over complete responsibility for LV Media Sales to Tanja Pfisterer-Lang at the end of the year. From that point on, he will take over the “New Business Areas in Agricultural Media” division, which reports directly to the management.

Tanja Pfisterer-Lang has proven sales expertise in trade and consumer media. Before joining Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster, the business economist and business psychologist held management positions at Hubert Burda Media (wir unternehmen medien), Bertelsmann (rtv media Group), Heilbronner Stimme, and Springer Fachmedien, among others.

“With our entire corporate portfolio of trade and consumer media, we can and want to offer advertisers comprehensive communication packages consisting of advertisements, events, and customer contacts. Tanja will help us in this endeavor with her broad range of experience and provide new impetus,” emphasizes Dr. Ludger Schulze Pals, Managing Director of Landwirtschaftsverlag.

Dr. Peter Wiggers, who holds a doctorate in agricultural science, has been working successfully for Landwirtschaftsverlag since 1998, initially as project manager for top agrar, then as head of the specialist media division, and since 2017 as head of the media sales division. “During this time, Landwirtschaftsverlag's titles have developed into journalistically and economically successful leading media in the agricultural sector. Peter has made a significant contribution to this with his work. With this expertise, he will open up additional market potential for Landwirtschaftsverlag in the future,” says Dr. Ludger Schulze Pals, praising the skills and achievements of the long-standing division manager.

“Developing new business areas for agricultural media is a really exciting challenge right now. We already have several projects in the pipeline where I'll be able to contribute my conceptual, economic, and journalistic experience,” says Dr. Peter Wiggers, looking forward to the tasks ahead.
